DJ Kushi Is an electronic house music producer and DJ hailing from Glasgow, Scotland.

Starting his career at the Lakota club in Bristol he went on to produce his sound known at the free party warehouse scene.

 

He performed all over the south west of England building a reputation before playing as far as Australia, Singapore, Bali, Thailand, Goa, Miami, France and Barcelona.

Kushi returned to Glasgow to open his own record shop, recording studio and record label where highlights included having label tracks played by DJ Sneak, Slam, Yousef, Halo and Hippie, Pete Tong, Justin Robertson, Funk D Void to name but a few.

 

Some of Kushi’s other feats include having a video on MTV, various licenses from Naked music (USA) to Fabric (London) and a label track featured on a Nokia phone advert.

 

He has held a residence in The Arches promoting his own club nights under the name of Music for Pleasure. He has also played in all of Glasgow's coolest clubs including the Sub Club. He has reeleased records under the Deep Freeze label and has played alongside the likes of  DJ Q, Harri (Sub), Dominic (Sub), Silicone Soul, Deisel, Pepe Bradock, DJ Rasoul, Plastik avenger, Vince Watson, Justice, DJ Heather, Hydrodisco.... the list goes on.

His electronic sets are always a source of inspiration to true music lovers.
